The Words of the Bible

HEBREW 13

Let brotherly love continue.

Do not forget your hospitality, for some of you, unaware of it, have harbored angels.

Remember the prisoners, as if you were in prison with them, and of the mistreated ones, as you yourselves are also in the body.

Let marriage be honored among all, and the bed without blemish; For he will judge judgments of adulterers and fornicators.

Let your life be without greed, being content with what you have; For he himself said, I will not leave thee nor forsake thee.

So that with full confidence let us say: The Lord is my helper, I will not fear; What will the man do to me?

Remember your guides, who spoke to you the word of God, and in view of the success of your career, imitate their faith.

Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.

Do not let yourselves be carried away by various and strange doctrines; For it is good that the heart be strengthened with grace, and not with food, that they have not profited any to them that have cared for them.

We have an altar, from which they have no right to eat those who serve the tabernacle.

For the bodies of the beasts, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest for a sin offering, are burned out of the camp.

Wherefore also Jesus, to sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered out of the gate.

Let us therefore go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

For we have no permanent city here, but we seek the coming.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise unto God continually, that is, the fruit of the lips that confess his name.

But do not forget to do good and to share with others, because with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Obey your guides, and submit yourselves to them; Because they watch over your souls as one who is accountable to them; So that they may do it with joy and not moaning, because it would not be useful to you.

Pray for us, because we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, and are desirous to behave in all things in all things.

And I urge you to do so, that I may soon be restored to you.
